The Story

Best friend, Mr. FS and Mr. APK, met for the first time while working for a creative agency in Jakarta. Together, their friendship led to the creation of Tablesix, a multidisciplinary design studio born from idealism and the necessity for an all rounder graphic designers.

At Brillington&Brothers, we embrace our personal approach towards our clients in constructing the perfect suit that reflected their personalities. The day the Tablesix guys called us, we knew that an exciting project will end up with the creation of a dapper looking suits. A friend's wedding is the occasion for them in need of formal attires that suits their flair and personalities. 

Since the guys tends to dress casually, Brillington would like to take their casualness and incorporate it into the suits constructions to create a formal look that exuberate casual expression. 

A fabric that can play the game well is cotton. Considered affordable and under-appreciated fabric by many, cotton can be an alternative to wool suiting without sacrificing any formal senses. Despite cooler fabric than wool, cotton suit can also be broken into separates, wearing only the jacket or the pants as chinos. Definitely the perfect choice for the casual Tablesix guys. 

Sitting together talking about suits, playful ideas came along with the conversations. While Mr. FS still building his own personal style, he choose to go with the basic darker blue, two buttons, single breasted suit, with additional touch of playfulness in the checkered blue and red pattern linings.

Mr. APK, built with slightly bigger hip and bottom, opted for a lighter blue double breasted suit that compliments his waistline, creating a greater silhouette for his body proportion.

The blue suits oozes coolness, yet subtle and playful, a color palette that suits the creative energy of the Tablesix guys.

Single breast - two buttons with notch lapel, patch pockets, single vent & checkerd linings. Constructed with fused interlinings, done with hand-stitched side stitch, hand shanked buttons & hand-stitched buttonholes.

The Suit of Mr. APK

Double breast - four buttons with peak lapel, lid-pockets, side vents & light pink pastel linings. Constructed with fused interlinings, done with hand-stitched side stitch, hand shanked buttons & hand-stitched buttonholes.
